Apple TV app is available on Roku

Roku Inc (NASDAQ: ROKU) shares surged 2.6% in premarket trading on Tuesday, after the streaming video player said Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL)’s Apple TV app is available on its platform, starting from Tuesday.

 

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) shares edged up 0.3% ahead of the open. The Roku users will have access to their iTunes video library through the Apple TV app. Starting from Nov. 1, Apple Inc’s streaming video service Apple TV+ will be available for the Roku users.

“Roku is a valuable partner for content providers looking to reach a large and engaged audience, and we’re looking forward to bringing this new option to Roku users,” said Scott Rosenberg, senior vice president of platform business.

 

 

Roku Inc (NASDAQ: ROKU) are currently trading at $129.77, soared 9% on Tuesday so far.
