Thill upgraded the stock to “buy” from hold. “With the stock down 17% YTD
and valuation at a 37% discount to peers, risk/reward has improved,” Thill
wrote.
“The recent IPO of Fiverr demonstrated
the large market for flex labor and evidenced Upwork’s leadership within
it.” Thill expects that Upwork’s first-quarter revenue-growth rate was
likely the bottom and he predicts “gradual acceleration” on the
metric as the year continues. He has a $23 price target on the stock.
